All new patients must book a New Consultation or a Comprehensive Exam. Children aged 4 and under may book a Mini Myo Exam.
Insurance
We do not direct bill however, our receipts contain the BCDHA treatment code and a Unique Identification Number in which you can submit to your dental insurance for possible reimbursement if you plan has coverage for OMT. Contact us with questions at tiffany@facefirstmyo.ca
With 15 years as a Dental Hygienist, my transition into Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT) was deeply personal. Navigating oral ties, breastfeeding, and airway issues with my own children showed me how vital and hard to find functional support truly is.
At Face First Dental Hygiene, I combine my clinical education from UBC and Camosun College with advanced training and subsequent certification in OMT to help families navigate these same hurdles. I’m consistently learning and advancing my knowledge to better serve my clients. My goal is to provide the clear, compassionate guidance that I sought out for my own family, with a focus on airway health and functional oral wellness for all ages.
